ASA Stars National Tour

Since the demise of the ASA National Tour in the early 2000s, racers, fans, manufacturers, promoters, and sports marketers have talked about the return of a national tour for pavement super late model racing. Enter MDM Promotions. MDM Promotions is a motorsports event management, marketing, and media company focused on promoting and growing auto racing throughout America. The company is led by Owner Marty Melo. In January 2026, MDM Promotions acquired the assets and operations associated with the Champion Racing Association, including the CRA Super Series and CRA Pro Series. The company also assumed ownership of the ASA Midwest Tour, ASA STARS National Tour, and Track TV, bringing several of pavement late model racing’s most important properties under one organization. Melo’s vision for MDM Promotions is clear: stabilize and strengthen regional racing, create new opportunities for competitors and partners, expand television and streaming coverage, and build a sustainable national platform for pavement super late model racing.
